Recession Update

As we the recession takes grip of Europe some worse than others. While the UK has been hit hard with rising unemployment and many people finding it increasingly hard to get mortgages other countries in Europe such as Greece and Spain have been hit even harder. It has been said that many more are searching online to find jobs on a miriad of sites. One recruitment proffessional said that even companies job pages on their websites are getting visits. Such sites as www.jobs.co.uk and www.ofertasdetrabajobarcelona.es have both reported a huge increase in traffic.

Many building sites have now been deserted all over Europe. They simply put roofs, window and doors on almost completed buildings to keep vandals out, but do not bother finishing the buildings off. Quite amazing when you think about it. All that money invested in buying plots of land and now it is considered more cost effective to put building work on hold until better times, than to plaster, plumb and fit them with electrics and try to sell them.
